Gridiron II SSLW Off-Road Tire Racer Bundle Overview

AKA now offers a racer bundle pack! This bundle contains two complete sets of bulk tires, foams, and wheels - everything you need to gear up for your next race.

The GRIDIRON II tire was designed for tracks that are hard packed and or tracks with little dust. It has been updated with the World Championship winning carcass borrowed from the Impact tire. Waffle ribbing has been added to help control tire expansion, and the side pins are angled for better performance on rougher tracks. The tire is 5% lighter than the original, improving acceleration and overall performance. This tire design is a great outdoor or indoor alternative. The square outer pins and bar center pins allow for great traction and long tire life compared to other small pin tires.

The EVO wheel is made from the super durable impact modified AKA nylon that current AKA customers are used to. The advantage of the stiffer EVO wheel shows up immediately with higher corner speeds, more consistent handling in the bumps, and effortless jumping. The optional inner wheel stiffeners are available separately in sets of four in both white and yellow and are removable and transferable from set to set. The EVO wheel can be used without the inner stiffener, but we know once you use the stiffeners, you won't want to go back.
