REVISED MOTOR LOCATION
As on the 22 3.0, the 22SCT™ 3.0 has the motor moved back and closer to the diff gear by a substantial 12mm, allowing for more rear grip on exit, more entry steering, and an overall easier to drive truck.
TRANSVERSE BATTERY MOUNTING
A new wider 2.5mm aluminum chassis and stiffezel mud guards create a new battery mounting pocket which allows for both saddle and shorty type LiPo packs to be mounting transverse across the chassis and a shorty mounted fore-aft for the ultimate in battery mounting adjustment.
During our testing, we found massive improvement in both speed and rear end grip for both spec and modified classes changing from a 4-gear to a 3-gear transmission. With improved handling in all classes, and quicker acceleration in spec classes, the 3-gear tranny pushed performance to the next level for all racers.
REVISED FRONT SUSPENSION GEOMETRY
All new front caster blocks and suspension arms allow for a VLA adjustment and the bell crank steering system which together give the 3.0 the amazing steering 22 consumers have come to love, but with a more consistent steering feel on all different surfaces, and a more consistent short course truck from track to track because of it.
ALUMINUM PLATE REAR HUB
The 22SCT 3.0 includes the all new aluminum plate rear hub. The hub base is molded composite, allowing a press bearing fit without play and minimal unspring weight compared to an aluminum hub. The aluminum plate is secured to the hub with a M3 screw and ball stud, which is vertically adjustable.
HDS SLIPPER WITH HD SPRING
The 22SCT 3.0 will include the Heavy Duty Slipper (HDS) pads, an 84T HDS Spur Gear, and the grooved and taper slipper plates, but the largest improvement comes with the HD slipper spring, giving a wider range of adjustment to improve slipper performance.
REVISED REAR SUSPENSION GEOMETRY
A new rear arm boasts revised shock mounting locations paired with optimized rear tower shock mounting locations, the jumping, landing and chassis roll dynamics of the rear end have been optimized for the higher rear weight bias percentage.
INCLUDED OPTION PARTS
22SCT 3.0 comes loaded with milled 7075-T6 aluminium parts like the top shaft, rear pivot mounts, motor plate, rear camber block, bleeder shock caps and ball stud spacers throughout.
LIGHT WEIGHT ALUMINUM CHASSIS
Made from durable 7075-T6 aluminum, the 22SCT 3.0 chassis includes many strategically milled pockets to reduce weight without compromising strength or chassis flex when landing jumps.
ADJUSTABLE TOE AND ANTI-SQUAT
The 22SCT 3.0 rear pivots now fit adjustable inserts for the rear toe and anti-squat adjustments for a quick and easy change to the geometry without the need to buy additional parts. Both adjustable in 0.5 degree increments, the rear toe adjustments range from 2.5 to 4.0 degrees and the rear anti-squat adjustments range from 0.0 to 3.0 degrees.
GENII 12MM BIG BORE SHOCKS
The GenII 12mm Big Bore Shocks have set a new standard for performance and maintenance. Features include X-Ring Seals, machined shock bushings, machined 2 x 1.6mm pistons, TiCN coated shock shafts, aluminum bleeder screw caps, threaded hard anodized shock bodies, and spring cups that snap onto the shock shafts.
